The client brief was specialist and called for programming excellence, and when the call came to TSG direct, we donned our pin-stripe denims, granddad shirts and tank tops (with funky belts natch…), rolled back the years and curated a 1984 soundtrack to support Vodafone’s recent 1984G pop-up store promotion.

Celebrating 30 years since the very first mobile phone call on their network, Vodafone created a pop-up store in London’s Covent Garden to showcase a way-back-then Newbury High Street, complete with appropriately attired costume actors. ’80’s superstar The Hoff was on call to complete the whole experience. Client feedback rang loud “The music selection was perfect for the brief and your support and professional delivery really added to the overall experience…”.

We feel that fusing brand experience to music, is all about what you know. We were doing this when others were running round in their Ghostbusters pyjamas…
