Upmarket homewares and furniture retailer OKA has chosen TSG to be the designers of their musical signature, for each of their city and country stores. Headed by the mother-in-law of the Former Prime Minister David Cameron, OKA have been a firm favourite of the interior design cognoscenti since 1999. Their stores are beautifully stocked and showcased, and when we discussed how to use music to tell stories and move people, we both focused on the fact that the profile we were creating, had to authentically match the story of the brand and not be a visual-sonic mismatch. The end result is a sophisticated blend of beats and vibes that tap into their core essence of ‘new meets old’.

With a nationwide portfolio that offers business and leisure guests a warm and welcoming environment, plus high-quality food and accommodation in a wide range of locations, from city centres, rolling countryside, manor style houses, spa retreats and well-placed airport positions. Our music programming is heard across all of the public areas and spa receptions and in curating the Hallmark soundtrack, we were mindful of both the demographic and the day-part focus for each and every day of the week.
The UK’s first burrito bar operator has expanded North into Scotland, with the acquisition of five Pinto Mexican Kitchen sites, located across Edinburgh and Glasgow. Positioning themselves as the leading burrito bar operator outside of London, they now operate 17 locations across 8 major cities. We’ve been working with Barburrito since site one and we enjoy spreading their fun, vibrant soundtrack into all of their sites. Plumb Center Bathroom Showrooms offer the perfect environment in which bathroom installers and their customers can explore design options, select the right products and discuss installation. Located nationwide and part of the giant Wolseley Company, we were thrilled to be selected as their new partner for both music programming and audio equipment. The requirement was for a music signature that was both inclusive and familiar, helping to promote a comfortable buying environment.
Situated in a Classic prime Mayfair retail location, the Linda Farrow Gallery showcases the very best in luxury eyewear. Renowned for her collaborations with many of the world's most acclaimed designers (Yohji Yamamoto, Raf Simons, Dries Van Noten, Matthew Williamson, Bernhard Willhelm and Jeremy Scott), her products are worn by celebrities such as Kate Moss, Chloé Sevigny, Lady Gaga, Madonna, Kanye West, Agyness Deyn and Mary, Kate and Ashley Olsen. We were tasked with curating a soundtrack for the Gallery that was both meaningful and authentically matched to the story of the brand. The feedback from the client has been extremely positive and we are thrilled to partner this luxury brand.

Set to double in size across 2016, due to noodles being the new trend in quick-casual, this healthy, convenient and portable food choice is winning fans wherever they locate their vibrant stores. For the client, music is an important way of articulating the fun and vibrancy of the brand, and working closely with them, we came up with a music profile that hits both the demographic and the length of visit.
We are thrilled to have been chosen by White Stuff as their in-store musical partner, particularly as we are real fans of the brand and their quirky take on how to dress a store that stands out, stays welcoming and is as unique as the town and city that hosts it. We don’t need to tell you how diverse, eclectic, yet joined-up their music profile is, voicing the brand personality as the customer journeys round the store, but we would like to shout out how easy it was to connect our music players via the client’s network infrastructure, directly to our music servers. This direct connection, purposely not used for streaming, (as we prefer to provide an on-premise music solution), enables our music programming team to quickly send new content and keep the music profile on-brand and always up to date.

Tasked with creating soundtracks to dine and drink to, our music programming team curated a day-parted profile that takes in classic artists, today’s coolest tracks and a good smattering of gems, all hand-chosen to extend visit length and evoke memories good enough to drive repeat visits.
